BEN IS MAKING WAVES!!

In February 2016, Ben quit his day job and moved into his music studio.

No kitchen. No shower. No money. Just a suitcase full of clothes and a guitar.

Since then, Ben released his #1 selling debut EP “Ben Johnson - EP”. He has written with some of the best songwriters in the world, and released his first full length album, "Bring Me Home” in February 2020 which has accumulated over 2,000,000 streams across streaming platforms.

Ben is proud to be a CMA Artist Member since 2019.

Originally from Circle Pines, Minnesota, Ben is a member of the Midwest Country Music Organization. Since 2018, Ben is a 14x Midwest County Music Award nominee for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.

In 2022, Ben was named by the Nashville Songwriters Association as the “One to Watch” - a huge honor from a long running Nashville establishment.

Ben has toured all across the country and even internationally (Bahamas, Canada, and Mexico). In the span of a week he went from playing a sold out show in Anchorage, AK to playing the Key West Songwriter Festival in Key West, FL. Ben has opened up for some of the biggest names in country music (Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Phil Vassar, Riley Green…) as well as playing his own headlining set all around the country.

Ben has a new bunch of unreleased music that he’s ready to release in 2024. He’s excited for everyone to hear what he’s been working on and can’t wait to keep entertaining crowds and making new friends along the way!
